Backstory

Hi! I was really surprised when I was sorted into Slytherin, my father said he thought I would be a Ravenclaw, and so did I. Maybe my mother was a Slytherin! I'm hoping I can figure out more about her while I am at Hogwarts. My father is a very secretive man, my mother died when I was a few years old, and father just won't talk about her. I do remember some things about her though. Father is a vampire, but I have been told to keep that hidden. Apparently there is a lot of prejudice towards dark creatures, but I can't understand why, they aren't all bad. I'm only a half vampire, my mother was a witch. I'm really enjoying Potions and Transfiguration so far, but I do also enjoy charms and History of Magic. I have a pet cat, named Onyx, and he's the most adorable cat in the world, I love him so much. I'm hoping I can make some new friends, people have been keeping away from me for some reason, I don't think I'm very approachable, but hopefully that changes soon! I would really like to work in the ministry when I graduate, maybe in the Department of International Magical Co-operation.
