Backstory

My name is Athena and I am a first year student at Hogwarts. I got sorted into Slytherin, because I am resourceful, I am very determined by what I like and what I research. I don't let anyone put me down, I am my own person and no one will take that from me. At the ceremony, the hat had a very hard time, choosing what house to put me on. I am either to be put into Slytherin, or Hufflepuff. My kindness, helpfulness, and protectiveness was the reason why I was considered to be in Hufflepuff. But at the end of the day, the hat ultimately decides what you want to choose. So, I chose to be house Slytherin. The reason why I have made that choice is because Slytherin has a very bad reputation about people. Because of some of the characters that we have in our house, I chose to end that, and I’m also very curious about the history of house Slytherin and the people behind it. My parents are muggle-born, my mom is very proud of me for getting into a school where everyone's the same as me, my dad on the other hand isn’t proud, calls me freak and evil, so that’s the reason he has left and never to be seen again. But I don’t need him, all I need is my mother who has been by my side since day one. My mother always says my greatest strength is my kindness and my willingness to never give up. My weakness is my emotions. I have very high emotions that sometimes I can not control. Before I entered Hogwarts, people in the muggle world were so cruel to me because I was different and looked different. I have white hair and purple eyes, and that is not considered normal, so I have been judged ever since I was born. When I graduate school, I don’t know what I am looking for, all I know is I want to learn herbs and help people with my magic and fight the most powerful people. What I find the most fascinating aspect of magic is the herbs you will find and do with, and the animals that are out there, so many powerful creatures and histories. I want to use my magic to help people, and to be fair to help me. If I’m being honest with myself, what I really want is power, so that I can help people, save people, and defend the people. I have one pet that I have with me, and that is a mini dragon that does not grow, she only turns big if I say the word that me and her only know. She is pure white with purple eyes like me. I found her in the real world by mistake, and I took her in to hide her for many years so people don’t harm her, but now in the wizarding world I don’t have to. She does breath fire, however her fire isn’t any normal color, her fire is the color purple which makes her so unique. Her name is Athena, just like the goddess of war. She’s very kind when she senses good people, however when she senses evil and not so good people, she bites them, and is quite vicious towards them.
