James Waffling

Backstory

Hi! I am a first year student. I am in Ravenclaw house, but the sorting hat took several minutes to decide. It also wondered about Gryffindor and Hufflepuff. However, the immense value I place on academic excellence, and my studiousness and diligent work ethic, coupled with my perfectionism meant that Ravenclaw was undeniably the right choice. My family, the Wafflings include famous magical theoretician Adalbert Waffling, close friend of Albus Dumbledore, and arguably one of the greatest wizard academics in recent times. I am skilled at Wizarding Chess, am a classical music appreciator, playing the cello myself. I am mediocre at sports, but I enjoy playing quidditch in my free time. I often have my nose in a book.

My favourite subjects are mathematics and science, especially astrophysics. I am also fascinated with the Muggle field of particle physics. I enjoy expository writing, but dislike creative writing.

I am of relatively tall height, with messy dark brown hair and brown eyes. I wear glasses.

I have a strong sense of justice and a sound moral compass. I stand up for integrity, and am a strong leader. I enjoy public speaking and debating.
