Backstory

I am new to Hogwarts but I already knew a good bit about it before coming here. I grew up with my aunt Desirée, who is a muggle, because my parents passed away during the second wizarding war not even three years after I was born. Aunt Desirée had told me things about Hogwarts and the wizarding world but when my letter came, we immediatly begun a deep dive to learn everything there was to know. We read lots of books about the school and we even found my mum's old diary about her time at the school. My mum was a muggleborn witch and my dad was a half-blood, making me a half-blood.

When I got here I was sorted into Ravenclaw but it took quite a while for the hat to make it's decision, it was choosing between Ravenclaw and Hufflepuff. When I graduate I want to become a professor or a healer at St. Mungo's. I haven't fully decided yet but I still have a few years so I'm not worried. All I know is that I want to use magic to help other people.

I also love animals, especially cats. And for my birthday this summer, my aunt gifted me a black kitten named Aurora. I usually call her Rory and she is so adorable. I've noticed she enjoys to curl up in my lap whenever I sit down and that is a win-win beacause that gives me an excuse to keep reading instead of getting up to do important things.
