Backstory

OVERVIEW
Finne is a Slytherin, because she's powerful. The hat shouted out that she was a Slytherin because of her power, and it was cursing. She likes Potions and Defense the best, and she sucks at Herbology. She can't even keep a cactus alive. She was born a half-blood in America but was adopted by a witch, a No-Maj, and her two magic sons. When they saw her change her hair color, they freaked. Her blood status doesn't really affect much unless you count an extreme blood purist's opinion. She's great at potions, but she sucks with plants. She plans to be a Healer when she finishes school. The most fascinating aspect of magic to her is probably how it can help others. If she's honest, what she really wants is her dad back. He wasn't insane, he just knew the truth about her an her mom. Her real mom is something that doesn't exist in the eyes of No-Majs. She owns a black owl named Jade.

EARLY LIFE
Finne's dragon mother left when she was born because dragons are not maternal creatures. If you wonder how a dragon had a child with a human, it's because certain dragon species can shapeshift. When Finne was five, her dad got sent to a mental hospital for "pyromania," but it was really Finne's anger, making her blow out fire, eventually burning their house, and he didn't want her blamed. She bounced around different children's homes in the state of Georgia and eventually got adopted by a witch, her No-Maj husband, and their two magic sons in Britain. Her blood status doesn't really affect anything because she's a half-blood.

HOGWARTS LETTER+DIAGON ALLEY
Finne got her letter on the 7th of July, which was her birthday. She already had money from her American father, so she didn't stop at Gringotts. At Ollivander's, she bought a larch wand, dragon heartstring core, 12.5 inches, slightly springy. She was strolling through with her best friend, Liz Black (granddaughter of Sirius Black), when she met Scorpius Malfoy. The three got ice cream at Florean Fortescue's and stayed in contact with their owls. Finne got a black owl named Jade.

HOGWARTS EXPRESS+SORTING
Finne went to the platform with Liz met up with Scorpius there. Rose Granger-Weasley and Albus Potter walked into the trio's compartment but Rose walked out immediately. Albus stayed with Finne, Liz, and Scorpius.The quartet clicked easily and became best friends. Finne was Sorted into Slytherin because she was so powerful that she was the first person to make the Sorting Hat swear. Liz was also Sorted into Slytherin because she wanted to be with her friends, as well as the fact that she was cunning.
