Backstory

I come from a muggle family, so it came as a shock when I received my Hogwarts letter. I never quite believed in magic but when I first arrived at Hogwarts I saw a completely different world, one I so desperately wanted to be a part of. I was sorted into Ravenclaw and I finally thought that I found a place where I belong. That was until I realised that no matter how hard I tried, I could not perform any spells. Everyone says that I shouldn't be too hard on myself, that it takes some people longer to learn but I just can't shake the feeling that I'm a fraud, that I don't belong here. Despite all that, I am in my final year, having spent all my years at Hogwarts reading anything that I can put my hands on. If I'm struggling with magic I'm going to make up for it with my brain. After all, it got me through so far, right?
