Backstory

Receiving my Hogwarts letter was like no other feeling. My parents have always described it as the best thing that ever happened to them - the beginnings of my dad's ambitions, where they met each other and where their life started. But even that couldn't prepare me for what was to come. My dad is a Slytherin and while my mom is a Hufflepuff, they always expected me to follow into his footsteps and those of his family and continue the tradition. When I didn't, they were both shocked and disappointed but I felt like I finally was doing something I could call my own. The Sorting Hat took an exceptionally long time to decide and while I initially wanted to be put in Ravenclaw because I just didn't think I was brave enough, the Hat insisted on putting me in Gryffindor, even if that meant being at odds at everything my family has stood for. Here at Hogwarts, I made the most bizarre set of friends, extremely different from those I had been forced into making at my dad's many ministrial parties and meetings. But these friends, they were my own. They were my chosen family. And they gave me life, made me become the me I had always wanted but wasn't brave enough to be. It's my last year here, and it feels bitter sweet. While I am looking forward to starting my life with someone I know for sure I will love till my last breath and pursuing a career in Healing, Hogwarts has become my home, the place where I found everything. Currently, I am looking forward to making the most of my time with my friends and soaking every inch of Hogwarts before I leave. It wont be enough though. It will never be <3
