Backstory
My name is Astra Figgens, daughter of Stella Figgens and Damion Figgens. Both a witch and wizard who met during their education at Hogwarts. A few years after graduating, they moved to the States and got married. Shortly after, they had both my twin sister, Rose Figgens, and me.
Growing up in a household, with parents graduating from Hogwarts, was not easy for me. My mother was a stern but brilliant woman who demanded her daughters to be educated the best they could be. My father, on the other hand, was a kind and gentle man. He taught us the uses of plants and potions. Passing on his dream of becoming a great healer to us girls.
Through out the years, my true life was hidden from the mundane world of muggles. It was hard for me to get close to people. I never made friends with anyone until I hit college to become a doctor. I was disowned by my family due to the fact that I wanted to be more like a Muggle.
I was on my last year of college when I recieved my owl for Hogwarts. It couldn't have shown at the perfect time. I was having a rough time with some of the professors at the college, was working 3 jobs on top of going to school, and was trying to maintain a broken relationship. I figured this was the perfect time to get away from the chaos of the muggle world and start learning more about the magic inside of me.
