Backstory
I am a half-blood, but my mom didn't know she was a witch until she discovered I was, so I was raised as a muggle-born. We both always had special powers but didn't know why or how. That is, of course, until I received my Hogwarts letter - that's when it all clicked!
Preparing for Hogwarts was a challenge and shopping in the diagonal alley was crazy - an entirely new world! My mom and I went together and we were so fascinated with everything! I was so excited that I started studying even before the school year.
I'm really grateful to be a Gryffindor and studying at Hogwarts! I just wish my mom had received the letter too... I wonder why... She would have loved it. But now I hope to build a new generation. It's good to have come from a muggle background though - at least I understand their technology better than most wizards, so that's an advantage, right? Anyways, can't wait to finish the school year and become a great witch!
