Fantasy:
The world is governed by four courts: Summer, Fall, Winter and Spring. The courts have never gotten along, each thriving and floundering at different times of year and never helping each other. The courts are magic, and the closer to power you are in each court, the more magic you have.
The Summer Court is ruled by Queen Solaria, and is often seen as the most powerful court. It is know for its beautiful balls and glorious architecture, with a radiant castle and glistening ocean behind it.
The Fall Court is ruled by King Oberoth, cunning and secretive. It is know for its connection to dark magic, with sorcerers and mages whose morality is unclear.
The Winter Court is ruled by the cold Queen Isolde, who is always with her huge and stoic personal guard, Kaelan. It is know for its mighty army, powerful by skills and numbers.
The Spring Court is ruled by King Zephyr who can't seem to take anything seriously. It is know for its music, filled with the finest fiddlers and flotists, and powerful healers.
One stormy night, the rulers of each of the courts are summoned by a mysterious presence: The Oracle of the Courts. She tells them a prophecy, that the courts will all be united by a child of Summer and Fall with a child of Winter and Spring. The rulers, who all hate each other, will do anything to prevent it from coming true.
