Backstory
Belladonna Iris Thornton was the name my mother had given me. She had a knack for potions and herbology, so it was only fitting she named me after one of her favorite plants; Deadly Nightshade. She unfortunately passed a few years back during a potion brewing accident, trying to create antidotes for different hospitals and medical wings.
I take after her fascination with potions, as it makes me feel closer to her. I understand why my mother chose it as her favorite subject, there's something amazing about brewing a concoction that can yield anything you put your mind to. Although I don't wanna work in a medical wing, I am interested in working with the dead and becoming a wizard mortician in the future. I'd like to promote respect and honor when working with the dead, and that also means taking care of their body after they pass. So you might find my style a bit... darker but I hope to contribute to the wizarding society in a new way that is equal to all species and races, even in death.
My father was muggle-born and gifted at charms. His competitive nature in quidditch passed down to me, except it doesn't just end with quidditch for me. Being a half-blood has helped me understand both muggles and wizards, and I hope that aids me in the future.
Stating at Hogwarts has been an amazing experience so far, and I can't wait to catch anything that's thrown my way.
