Hadlee

Backstory

My name is Hadlee. I am 15 years old. I discovered I had magic only recently when I accidentally got annoyed at my little sister and set her hair on my fire. My mom was very upset but at the same time, I saw a sense of happiness and pride come over her. It was very strange. Although numerous events had happened before, nothing made me believe about my magic until that happened. Thankfully, she was not hurt and her hair was not even singed.

As far as I know, I am muggleborn. My mom has no magic, and it is hard telling about my father as I have never met him nor even know who he is. Perhaps he was a wizard, a dark wizard perhaps, but I highly doubt he had any magic whatsoever. I attend a muggle homeschool, meaning my mom has taught me at home my entire life, but I started teaching myself around fifth grade.

My favorite muggle courses have always been mathematics and any of the sciences, especially chemistry and physics. One of these days, I want to go to a muggle university and major in either mathematics or astrophysics as I have always been obsessed with anything to do with space. Some of my favorite space topics to learn about have to be black holes, dark matter, exoplanets, and cosmology. Although I know little about these subjects now, I like to read articles about them and follow the NASA website and publishings closely.

I am very excited to be a student here now at Hogwarts. The classes I am most looking forward to are Astronomy and Potions. I am also excited to learn about Ancient Runes one of these days when I can take the class!
