Aleanor Lupin

Backstory

My story can be a bit complicated, so I’ll trim it down a bit.  My mom, Romaine Lupin, is Remus Lupin’s way younger half-sister on his Dad’s side, born in Canada and went to Ilvermorny.  After the Second Wizarding War, she disgraced magic and went to live with her mom, my Grandma Silvia, until I was born from a fling with a muggle named Earl.  My mom did not tell me of magic and did not allow me to learn magic until I was thirteen and found out about it while on vacation in England.  While she showed me Diagon Alley we, quite literally, ran into a large family of the Weasley’s, Potter’s, and one Lupin.  Incidentally, this Lupin was my cousin, Teddy, who we had heard of through an ancestry website.  After getting to know one another, and me confessing to never having learned magic, Teddy suggested I go to Hogwarts.  My mother agreed after much begging from every child in the family, and we decided I would stay with Teddy in Cardiff during the school year and my mother in Winnipeg during the summer.  During the school year we are going to go visit the Potters and Weasleys for Christmas, which I am very excited for.  I read a lot in preparation for Hogwarts, and have so far found magic fascinating.  I have also had a lot of fun with Teddy, he insisted we do “family bonding” so we got my books and stuff together and then even went shopping in the muggle world a few times.  I was really nervous about the sorting when I got to Hogwarts, but was really pleased when I was out in Ravenclaw.  I was a hatstall between Gryffindor and Ravenclaw, and both would be fine.  My mother was very happy, she sent me sticky toffee pudding all the way from Winnipeg, since she knows they’re my favourite, and told me she even made them using magic again. Teddy bought me some pretty blue trunk decals too, and they kinda shimmer.  I am most looking forward to Transfiguration, I hear McGonagall is an excellent teacher and I really want to learn more practical magic. :)
