Backstory
Ava Clark was taken in by Dumbledore and Hogwarts itself, after losing contact with her Mother (Layna Clark) and Father (Dean Clark) who also happen to be exceptional wizards. They lost touch due to a natural disaster occurring in the muggle world - separating them - and currently - she and no one else knows whether they are alive or dead.
Ava's family is well renowned for their honor and integrity - although - they do tend not to take sides when things are getting slightly more chaotic in the wizarding world. This is not due to fear, they do not wish to harm friends on both sides - and to some, that may seem like trying to have it all - but they are set in their ways.
Although the family may be well known - Ava hasn't had much of a chance to get to know other magical beings, wizards and witches alike her own age - so Hogwarts will be a completely new challenge for her - although one she will face head-on.
