Backstory
Fortunately, I was sorted into Ravenclaw. I guess the Sorting Hat saw my wish to gather knowledge and become wise, maybe even some creativity and all that. It took him less than twenty seconds. I'm way too scared of literally everything to be a Gryffindor, too lazy to be a Hufflepuff and, well, not Slytherin enough to be a Slytherin.
Most of the time, you can find me reading in the common room or the dormitory, trying to finish the endless Astronomy essays in the library or sitting by the lake. I do enjoy some nature sometimes, even though I definitely dislike bugs. Herbology is surprisingly my favourite subject so far. I did not expect looking forward to getting my hands dirty but guess I do. My least favourite is Astronomy, simply because I'm too stupid to remember all the dates and telescopes and Mars missions and what not. Also it's the most difficult to understand - but I just don't. Still, so far I'm doing good in all of my classes, having finished the first two lessons of all eight subjects and getting 100% in each. Guess I'm a Ravenclaw after all - or I just got lucky.
Anyways, a little more about me outside of the academic duties: I'm a half-blood. My mom was a witch but I was adopted when I was still very young, so I didn't know that until much later. I grew up in Germany, unfortunately, but moved to England recently. When I received my letter, I was shocked and didn't believe it at first. I mean, a witch? Me?! No way! But, well, I am. Bad luck for everyone who has to share a dorm with me. Speaking of luck, my last name is pure irony. I don't know a single person with less luck. I mean, of course I was lucky enough to grow up with a home and enough food most of the time and all that but in terms of getting lost, accidentally hurting myself and all that, nobody is less lucky than me. At least I have never met anyone. So if you ever need a clown for your party, I can do it. I don't even need instructions. I will definitely make a fool of myself.
At least I'm doing good at school. Who knows, maybe I will apply to become a PA one day. That would be fun and I like having some responsibility. After school, I would like to do something I enjoy, like working in a library or maybe becoming the Hogwarts Express driver. That sounds like fun and I'd only have to work a few times a year. I can't be the lady with the sweets though. I would eat them all by myself and get fired on my first day.
Well, I'm looking forward to learning more and getting to know everyone around here. Send me an owl if you feel like it!
