Backstory
When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I didn’t know what it would mean. I come from a long, long line of pureblood Gryffindors. My sister sometimes joked that with amount of sarcasm I use daily I'd be in Slytherin. My father swore by every god in existence I'd be out of the door faster than I could say Quibbler if I were a Slytherin. Quite a shame really, I like the power of Slytherin but the disregard for others in the name of ambition just isn't really me. As we made our way to Diagon Alley my father gave me a new, more intsense editon of his speech about how we are purebloods and how we're so "superior" but this time adding that if I disgraced our family name in anyway, I'd truly be done for. A disgusting mindset if you ask me. Anyways, I was given, er, about 100 galeons for school shopoping (about $664 or €558 I believe). After getting my things I decided to aqquire a familiar, I already have an owl but I decided old Talon could stay home. instead I chose a small kitten, a sweet little fluff I have named Yuna. With a portion of the money I had left I grabbed a bunch of etra books. My sister depises reading, I love it. It's nice to be taken away to another world with no, or at least less worries than you have in your everyday life. I'm rather excited for potions, Mum is quite good at them and has taught me a few tricks, hacks if you may. Well, here's to my first year of Hogwarts!
Best regards, ♥
P.S. I got Ravenclaw, Father is a bit glum of it but is at least satisfied that I'll be considered intelligent. Mum is quite elated, her brother was a Ravenclaw.
