Backstory
Hi! I'm Priya Patil-Thomas! A first year Ravenclaw student who enjoys charms and has trouble in herbology. My favorite subjects are charms and potions, however I am not especially good at potions...
Anyways, I am not muggle-born, half-blood, or pure blood but somewhere in between. My wizarding heritage is also somewhat unknown so I just say I'm half blood.
My parents are Parvati Patil and Dean Thomas, both somewhat well known. My mother helped to start a new branch of the Ministry of Magic. Something about muggle-wizard relations, but I'm not sure. My dad works at a defense and dueling workshop in the Falmouth wizarding community.
My wand is 15 and three-quarter inches, surprisingly whippy, of rowan wood, and has a dragon heartstring core.
I frown upon divination (my mother is very embarassed about her youth obsession with it) and enjoy traveling the world with my family. My Hogwarts ambition is to introduce more cultural diversity to Hogwarts, ace my classes, and start a Ravenclaw quidditch cheerleading team.

P.S. I also have two books in the Hogwarts library, one about Disney Princesses coping with modern social standards and one that is a fun modern twist on a Shakespeare comedy.
