Backstory

Hello My name is Kathrine or just Kat for short. I grew up in a small cottage, with my mum and dad. I'm an only child, my mum is a pureblood and my dad is a muggle. We moved into a mansion because of my mum's job (the minister of magic). Time went on, everything was normal and safe as it should be. Until I turned 10, my dad got in a nasty fight with a werewolf and was bitten. Several years of worrying if he was going to make it or not. On my 11th birthday he departed us, it was a sad day but I was glad that he was no longer suffering.

Months pass and its now autumn, I get my Hogwarts letter. I was excited to finally get to go to Hogwarts like my mum did but I didnt want to leave her. Ever since my dad left, my mum just hasn't been the same. My mum eventually talked me into going. When I get to Hogwarts, I'm immediately escorted to the Great Hall. The Sorting Hat is placed on my head and then I hear it shout "Hufflepuff", I quickly and happily take a sit at the hufflepuff table.

Taking a sit next to a tall, slim boy. He introduces himself, his name is Cedric Diggory. We quickly become good friends. My best friend, Verity is in Ravenclaw (I've known her since we were little tots). One day we met up in the court yard and she introduced me to her friend, Luna Lovegood. I introduce her to Cedric, I can tell that we are all going to become good friends.
