Emerald Hwang

Backstory

My name is Emerald Hwang. I am a Hogwarts Hufflepuff student in my first year along side my other three siblings. My oldest sister is a third year student, and my other two siblings are first year students like me. We are all triplets. 

Sometimes, I'm hanging out with my small group of Hufflepuff house friends, but I'm also pretty friendly with my oldest sister's Gryffindor friends. But mostly, I'm painting, or reading and studying. When I grow up, I hope to work for the Department of International Magical Cooperation, or become a zoologist. I'm always torn on the two. 

My siblings and I were born in the wizarding part of Busan, in a very small community full of other witches and wizards. When I was 7, I moved to Japan where I started my schooling career in Mahoutokoro (魔法 マホウ 処 トコロ.) My parents thought it was better for us to go to school instead of learning from home. For context, most countries did not have a wizarding school, like Hogwarts due to the smaller amounts of wizards in smaller countries. South Korea is a smaller country and there is not a need for a school there. Wizards were to be home schooled. While I resides in Korea and Japan, my sibling and I were taught English and Japanese for the fact that they wanted us to be able to speak to anyone universally and so we can go to Mahoutokoro comfortably.

When I was 10, my dad was on a business trip when he met a very interesting businessman. This businessman then gave him an offer to work in the Ministry of Magic for the Department of International Magical Cooperation. So when we moved to London a year later, that was when I got my letter (and so did my siblings.) 

So here I am, a first year student excited for what I’m about to learn and discover in my new schooling endeavors.
