Matilda Merope Riddle

Backstory

Matilda Merope McGonagall [later... Riddle] was born on November 14, 1977, to Minerva McGonagall and Tom Riddle. Growing up, Matilda had known nothing about her parents, for when she was only an infant, her father left her in an orphanage. 

None of the staff nor the nuns knows who brought her there, but there's one thing Matilda knows. Her father was the one who left her there. As weird as it can be for a child, Matilda remembers that night. Matilda was nameless until her fifth birthday. Tired of the insults and jokes, she decided to name herself Matilda. A name she oddly remembered.

During her time in the orphanage, Matilda noticed that something was strange about her. Matilda was a bright child, intelligent and witty but also mysterious.
