Backstory

Hello there! My name is Ariana Estella Valdez.

I lived in the United States for most of my life before moving to London when I was ten. A short while after, I got into an arguement with my sister and yelled in frusteration, and several things, well, exploded. A few days later, a letter appeared in the mail for me, from somewhere called Hogwarts. My family and I thought it was just a prank from the neighbors a few houses down. But later that week, I got a visit from the Headmistress herself! She told my family and I everything, and I went to Diagon Alley to get everything just a little while after. Getting on the Hogwarts Express was one of the best moments of my life, and I'm very happy to be here!

~Fun facts about me~

My wand is blackthorn wood with a phoenix feather core, 10" and unyielding flexibility.
I hope to be the Ravenclaw seeker one day!
I'm muggle born
My patronous is a manx cat.
My favorite animals are cats
I love love LOVE to read. My favorite series include but are not confined to Harry Potter, Keeper of the Lost Cities, Akarnae, and all of the Percy Jackson series.
I'm also a HUGE fan of Star Wars. My favorite characters are Ahsoka and Hera by the way.
I'm an anamagi, and my animal is a raven with blue, purple, and silver tipped wings and blue and silver feathers around my eyes. I think this comes from my glasses, but I'm not sure.
My favorite colors are blue and green.
If I wasn't in Ravenclaw, I'd be a Slytherin.

~Appearence~

I have hazel eyes, long light blonde hair with orange-y streaks, a few freckles, high cheekbones, and glasses.
I look about a year younger than I am, or at least that's what people tell me. It's probably because I'm short.

~Hobbies~

Reading
Practicing to be a seeker
Messeging friends (whether through muggle or wizarding fashions)
Writing books (I have about four in the process of being written and none of them have a chapter three yet!)

~Personality~

Loud. Very loud. (Unless I'm reading)
Loves to talk
Very friendly (unless you piss me off, then you're in for it)
Pretty bookish
Has a lot of friends but only a few close ones

The library, of course

The Forbidden Forest (It's quite pretty, especially when the sun's out and all the animals are on the forest floor or in the trees)

It's home to the cleverest witches and wizards of Hogwarts! Well, not all, I guess, but most.

We don't really have "rivals", we're friends with all of the houses

I'm only a first year, but I'm proud of all the points I've racked up for my house, and am very excited for the years to come!
