Backstory
Sacred twenty-eight, when it was twenty-nine.
About two centuries ago, the ancient Tartt family lived in magical Britain. But for reasons known only to those involved in that conflict, the Tarts were banished from the United Kingdom. Not having many relatives abroad, they had to go to what was once the Russian Empire. There they remained, and there they live to this day.
For many years, the heirs of the Tarts received no letters from Hogwarts. But everything changed in 1972 when the only daughter and heiress of the ancient family received a long-awaited letter from the oldest magical school. Irene Tartt was assigned to Ravenclaw. Then, years later, her two daughters also received the coveted letter. Natalie was also sent to Ravenclaw, and the eldest, Annette, revived the tradition of studying at Slytherin.
As the years passed, Annette's two daughters continued their studies at Hogwarts. The youngest, Karin, was chosen to study at Gryffindor, where she continues to study now. And the eldest daughter, Noah has followed in the footsteps of her two parents and is studying at Slytherin.
