Blake was born into a pure muggle family, her Dad attended Hogwarts before her but her Mom is a normal muggle. It was no shock to both her parents that she recieved her Hogwarts letter upon reaching the age of 11 since she has displayed signs of interest and talent in magic just from listening to her father's adventures in his years in Hogwarts.
Arriving at Hogwarts made her feel like coming home after a long day away from it. Blake was sorted into Hufflepuff, which she told her parents immediately, her father was previously sorted into Gryffindor, and was ecstatic to know she's in the house where loyal and just people are. At 3rd Year, Blake took interest in Care of Magical Creatures, finding the magical beings they study fascinating, it was one of the subjects she thrived in, those included Charms, Transfiguration and Herbology.
