Backstory
My family decided to settle in Britain for the sake of our education, Hogwarts being a widely respected school and all. My dad, a muggleborn, managed to secure a transfer from the New York branch to the London branch of his company, while my halfblooded mother applied to be an intake and diagnostics specialist on staff at St. Mungo’s for wizards in mental distress. Mom also sells high-quality calming draughts on the side. When I was younger I was very excited about learning at Hogwarts, so everyone was surprised when I was sorted into Slytherin instead of Ravenclaw. Most of my friendships so far are inter-house, two Ravenclaws and a Hufflepuff, but I’m still hoping to make some Slytherin friends and find out what makes me Slytherin. I am most excited about studying History of Magic and Transfiguration.
