Backstory

the name is Kenneth Aidan Gilmore, i use HE and THEM pronouns, in my first year I was sorted into Slytherin, the hat said my ambition and the power I had of getting everything I wanted was perfect for the house, the hat told me my deepest dreams would come true in Slytherin. the decision was almost immediate, it took me a while to process all of it, deepest dreams? how would a hat know something that I did not even know what was? in classes, potions and defence against the dark arts are my fortes, but all my attention goes to flying, duels, and quidditch, under my arm, I hold the ability to be naturally flexible, being competitive, and astute. but even tho those classes are great and all, I really can't stand the transfiguration class. my blood status is pure-blood, this was a good thing the first days at Hogwarts, I was told I kept Slytherin clean, which doesn't make sense to me, the blood that runs in your veins does not make you a better wizard or witch, its the talent, but who am I to spill that kind of tea. I think my greatest strengths are how good I can put a person against themselves, if the ones I love the most get hurt ill have no respect for the "enemy" ill protect my loved ones with my life. on the other hand, my weakness is that without my wand and broom... I am nothing those two things make me the person I am, I haven't thought of what would I do once I'm out of Hogwarts, a part of me tells me to become a quidditch player, the greatest seeker of all, but on the other hand, Hogwarts is my safe place, my home, so I would love to become a teacher and teach the younger ones, but if I'm being honest, I feel like something more awaits for me, far away from Hogwarts, into unknown places, but... I don't understand it yet, it tells me my time will come, I'm still young after all I have an owl pet. his name is Lance, they are really sweet and one of the fastest owls I ever met, we are best friends, we have races in the sky anytime we can. I don't know much about my family, they were really rich, they left me a generous amount of money that I don't really want or need, I still hear about them now and then, they are far away on their own journey on the open sea, fighting amazing creatures and discovering new inventions to the wizarding world, at their own way... I miss them so much...
