Backstory

Born in a family where where there wasn't any magic blood, I received the Hogwarts letter. The rest of my family were all glad for having a witch in the family. When I came to Hogwarts, and I sat on the stool, the Sorting Hat had it very difficult – which house should it sort me into? It ended up with Ravenclaw, though it also thought Hufflepuff was a good idea. I had bought an owl to take with me to Hogwarts. My mother thought it would be a good idea, because owls can send letters, and that would have been harder with, for example, a cat. My favourite subject was History of Magic. That wasn't weird, because my favourite subject in the Muggle school had been History.
