Backstory

Growing up, my mother raised me on muggle beliefs and logic because of her attachment to my father as she did not want him to ever learn about her world, though she did not necessarily love him. I wasn't a planned child either, I just popped out of nowhere and my dad was the one night stand.

When I started showing signs of magic, it was my grandparents who taught me about the wizarding world up until I received my letter to Hogwarts. My grandparents were ecstatic and my mother was proud but more wary as she didn't want my dad to know. She ended up having to obliviate my father's memories of us just so the secret of what me and my family were was safe.
