Backstory

My family were thrilled when my letter arrived at the house, we immediately took off to go and get everything I needed for school and we obviously stopped to get my wand, (pine wood with a pheonix core 12 1/2" and a supple flexibility). I was quite happy with this and my father told me that I got the rarest core type, how cool is that!! Although..he did mention something about the fact that they show the most initiative, sometimes acting of their own accord, a quality that many witches and wizards dislike, but i'm sure i'll find a way to take control of this wand and use it very carefully. My parents before they sent me off onto the train my mother said, "she will definitely be a ravenclaw, it would be a great shame if she wasn't as she would be the first in the family since her great great grandfather..and we don't want her ending up like him." I could tell that both of my parents would be extremely disappointed and annoyed if I didn't turn out to be a ravenclaw and well..here I am..a slytherin. I know my parents are mad but I have nobody else to blame except myself for possessing the wrong qualities.
