Backstory

I'm 17, and an orphan. I've known about magic or Hogwarts since I was little, but I always thought it was some fairy tale my parents told me. I was adopted as soon as I was born, I guess my parents didn't want me, or at least my Mother didn't. My adopted parents told me that my Father didn't know about me until three months after my adoption. He came to see me in fact. My parents gave him the option of custody but he decided that I was safer with them. He sent money every month until he died. "He had a complicated life, but he was a strong man and wizard and he died an honorable death" my mom would say. I wasn't sure if I believed the whole magic and wizards thing, that is until I got my letter from Hogwarts. I was shocked and excited, it's all real. My Father really was a powerful wizard, I will actually be attending Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I can't wait to learn more about my father. Sirius Black.
