Backstory

It wasn't a shock when I got my Hogwarts letter and I was sorted into Slytherin. I knew I would be sorted into Slytherin or Gryffindor. I am brave, determined, and daring but I am also a leader, ambitious, and very cunning. I come from a long line of pureblooded Gryffindors so I was the first in my family to be sorted into Slytherin. When my family found out, they were disappointed in me. They had much pride in them being Gryffindors. To me, I didn't care. I didn't care for my blood status, my family name, or my family's house. Them being disappointed in me and not acknowledging me at all didn't affect me at all, I lost all emotion when I lost my parents. Ever since then, I don't trust easy, I keep to myself, and I am very independent. It hasn't been easy but I can manage. like my mother always said, " a duraine always manages to find a way."
