Backstory

(Older Student) Born to both a muggle mother and father, my parents always considered me a special child as I would always seem to get myself into impossible situations. My parents were good people though and poured more love than one would think possible into me. When an owl flew into my sitting room with a letter revealing that I had been accepted into a school of witchcraft and wizardry, to say my parents and I were shocked would be an understatement! However, after the initial shock faded away, things started to become clear. I had always struggled to fit in with the other kids in my neighborhood, which led me to believe that there was something wrong with me and although my parents always comforted me, I would feel down. With the revelation that I was a wizard, this weight was lifted off of me, there was nothing wrong with me, I was just different, I was magic! My first day in Hogwarts was the best day of my life! I got sorted into Hufflepuff, no doubt due to my parents kind and caring nature and I made lots of friends. Everyone in Hufflepuff was great, kind and welcoming and I instantly felt at home down in Hufflepuff common room. The past few years have flown by since that letter flew into my sitting room and I am now in my seventh year, prefect of Hufflepuff house and preparing for my N.E.W,T.s. I hope to go on to be a magizoologist or work in muggle relations, neither of which require a good score in the N.E.W.T.s but it's always good to keep one's options open.
