Backstory

Hi. I'm Gabe. Or Gabby. My birth name is Gabriella, though. Gabe's my other nickname. My great great great grandfather is Newton Scamander. He's one of the best-known beast tamers. I became a student at Hogwarts because I wanted to live in his legacy and make him proud.
When I got my acceptance letter, everyone in my family was shocked. I was shocked myself. I was born amongst muggles, and yet I got an acceptance letter. I was confused in the beginning, but then I soon realized why I was destined to go to Hogwarts.
When I got sorted into my house, everyone in my family thought I was weird. My dad's side of the family is filled with Ravenclaws, while on my mom's side, Slytherins. I guess they thought it had to be one or another, and I got sorted into Hufflepuff. Geez.
I remember the first time they walked into Diagon Alley. Yup. There are some rules. SOME muggles can go to Diagon Alley. But those are the muggles that have children in Hogwarts. They can go to visit their children. I'm surprised they didn't think to have the idea I could be a witch. I found it hilarious because while they thought they just discovered a new dimension, (In some way they did,) I knew the place like the back of my hand.
