Backstory

I am an American. My family moved to the UK when I was 8 because of my mother´s work. When I got my letter, my parents and I thought it was a joke. Later, my grandfather from my dad´s side told us about our unique lineage. Every fourth memeber of our family had the magical bond that attached us to the wizarding world.
I always felt ordinary. Like I would never accomplish anything important in my life. When my grandfather told me that I was going to Hogwarts and everything magical about it, I thought I wouldn´t belong. I thought I would be made fun of for not knowing anything about the wizarding world.
When I arrived at Hogwarts and found out that a hat was going to decide which house I was, thoughts like ¨What if it says I don´t belong?" "What if it can't put me in a house?" "What if I find my house, I'll be the laughing stock?". Thoughts like this invaded my mind. I didn't know why since back home, I did this peculiar things that would make me be looked at weirdly.
After this, I calmed down and focused on all of the good things that would come out of this experience. Of how I would find people like me that would understand me and like me. I just let it all happen.
When I was being sorted at Hogwarts, the hat had a hatstall since he couldn't decide whether to put me in Hufflepuff or Slytherin. In the end, he chose the former. My favorite class is Charms. I am also like Potions and CoMC. My best friend is my cat, Nico.
When I finish Hogwarts, I want to become a Healer; I like to help people.
