Backstory
Despite spending most of my life surrounded by the mystic arts--my father was a muggle gifted in the ways of healing and my mother was a witch specializing in herbs--when I received my Hogwarts letter, I was befuddled. I never thought there was a school dedicated to witchcraft and wizardry, nor that I would be awarded attendance. From that point onward, my life became a wonderful whirlwind of learning, making friends, and experiencing the wizarding world up close. Upon graduating four years ago, I decided to follow in my parents' footsteps and pursue a career in the healing arts. I excelled in my NEWTs in Divination and Herbology, which came as no surprise to anyone in my family, and, directly after graduation, spent a year studying abroad in the mountains of Tibet. There, I observed the healing practices of multiple nomadic tribes and explored the beautiful mountain ranges. I returned to the United Kingdom with a new outlook on life, a satchel filled with odd knickknacks, and notebooks filled with observations. Of course, I had been sending letters back to my family via owl regarding my trip (they're quite the worrywarts), but I definitely surprised them when I knocked on their door one fine August day. Since my travels, I opened up a mystic healing and palmistry shop in Hogsmeade and have experienced just enough business to keep my storefront and warm my belly with food every night. However, at twenty-two years old, I still yearn for adventure...though this time, I want to take someone with me. It is not always accurate to read one's own palms, but I foresaw a stranger visiting my shop in the coming months that would bring with him a story of wonders and terrors alike; one that I would get swept up in. But that's probably a mistake on my part. I always observe palms with a sense of....optimism.((If one would like to roleplay with me, one need only ask. I don't bite. If you need to chat, I'm always here to help. Wishing you all a lovely day, indeed, and sending out buckets of love and good wishes. :) ))
