Backstory

I was sorted into Gryffindor. It took the Sorting Hat a while to decide between Hufflepuff and Gryffindor, but it ultimately placed me in the house I chose. I like Defense Against the Dark Arts and Charms the most. I absolutely hate the divination class. I do well in it but I don't find it enjoyable. I am a Half-blood. My father was the first witch in his family, and my mother came from a long line of witches. No one really cares about my blood status except the old wizarding families. When Voldemort rose to power, my parents were among those who fought against him. When he rose again, I carried their legacy on and fought in the great battle. My greatest strength is my bravery and my disregard for danger. I leap head-first into everything. My greatest weaknesses are my naivety and my habit of looking over important details. After school, I would like to take the position of Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. I believe the most fascinating aspect of magic is its limitless potential. There is nothing you cannot do when you have access to magic. I would like to use my magic to help others instead of hurt, for there is no gain from pushing others down. I have a Screech Owl and her name is Lily. She is rather calm and she'll listen to you talk even if she doesn't understand. I look forward to finishing my 7 years at Hogwarts and leaving my mark in the world of magic.
