Backstory

^{My name is Avery Greene and I am in my first year at Hogwarts. When I received my letter on my twelfth birthday my parents weren't surprised, both of my brothers go to Hogwarts. They took me to Diagon Alley to buy my supplies. The first place we went to was Ollivander's to get my wand; it's made of maple wood with a phoenix core, 12.5", and has rigid flexibility. Eventually, September 1st came around and my brothers and I arrived at Kings Cross Station on platform 9 3/4. We said our goodbyes and my brothers left to be with the other 5th and 6th years and I was left alone with Zhana, my owl. We boarded the Hogwarts express and I sat down in a lonely compartment and pulled out a copy of the Daily Prophet, thankful to not have any distracting peers with me. Upon arrival at Hogwarts, the sorting began and I found myself at the Ravenclaw table with my brothers. So far, my favorite classes would have to be astrology and flying. They both remind me of night flights when I would sneak out with my brothers and race through the fields back home in Ashwell.}
