Backstory

My name is Jay and I am a half-blood born and raised in San Juan Puerto Rico. I received my letter to attend Hogwarts and was stunned to find out that my father was a wizard. From the moment I received my letter to attend Hogwarts I had been captivated by the wizarding world. Everything changed the moment I got on the Hogwarts express. I knew the rest of my life was going to be exciting. Going to Ollivander's was simply enlightening. Cedar wood with a phoenix feather core, 12 ¾" and unbending flexibility, is the wand I'll have for the rest of my life. When I made it to Hogwarts I was immediately sorted into Gryffindor, even though I strongly believed I would have gotten Hufflepuff. I've always prided myself on learning everything I could, but I couldn't suppress the urge to spend more time learning about the care of magical creatures & defense against the dark arts. Not long after my first year I discovered my undeniable love for magical creatures. Hagrid spent many evenings teaching me about all the amazing creatures this world has to offer. My favorite creature was the powerful dragon, specifically the Swedish Short-Snout. During my fourth year, my name was chosen out of the goblet of fire. I had the time of my life competing in the life-threatening challenges, in the end I came in second place. I was granted the amazing pleasure of meeting the remaining members in the order of the phoenix. During my years at Hogwarts I: passed all of my OWL's with amazing scores, I played keeper on the Gryffindor quidditch team, I learned how to speak parseltongue, I explored the secret passageways on the Muarader's map, discovered my patronus was an Occamy, became an Animagi, and met so many amazing people. I grew up to become a Draganologist but also became a healer to magical creatures.
