Backstory

When I received my Hogwarts Letter that faithful day, I was beyond surprised! At first I thought my aunt and uncle were playing tricks on me as Muggles do I suppose. Being born into a Muggle family due to the passing of both my parents, I was taught all about the Wizarding World, but my aunt and uncle always took it as a joke. I was stuck reading all about the Wizarding World and Hogwarts via my parents old journals and the belongings they left with me. How was I supposed to know it was all real and not just a silly image my parents had in their mind. Anyway, the day had come where we had to stop and go to Diagon Alley to gather my school supplies. Our first stop was The Leaky Cauldron because I had read about it a lot in my fathers journal. He said I could find a lot of generous people there to show me the ropes. I can't quite put my finger on what my favourite stop was. If I had to choose, it would probably have to be Ollivanders. It is just so fascinating that the wands choose you instead of you choosing it.
