Backstory

I never new what I could do was magic. I knew it was something, but I had no idea there was a whole magical world here waiting for me to discover it. I grew up traveling around the U.S. so when strange things happened around me it was easy for me to ignore it , write it and keep it moving, on to the next town. Deep down I knew there was more to the picture, but I thought the incidents were a mysterious feature of whatever small town my family was in, and we never stuck around long enough for me to research or experiment to get to the bottom of things. It wasn't until I left America and took a trip to london that I discovered that, yes there is magic in many places, but there is also magic in me! When the Aurors showed up and told me that I was at risk of violating the Statute of Secrecy because of accidental magic, it took me a while to come to terms with what they were saying. But it's kinda hard to argue when you ride a phone box down into a grand atrium and see the British Ministry of Magic in all it's glory. Now I'm here at Hogwarts. I've got a lot of catching up to do, but I can't be too upset at being a bit behind the curve when I'm immersed in something so wonderful! There's just so much to learn! Not just in classes, but about culture, politics and society. It's a bit intimidating, but I absolutely love it! I think I'm considered a muggle-born, but I know my grandma was a "which doctor" in Louisiana and could do some unexplainable things...that calls for some looking into.
