Backstory

I've been at Hogwarts for a few weeks now. Apparently being a Hufflepuff in first year isn't as easy as I thought it would be. The classes are more difficult than I thought, kinda wish my mum was here to tutor me. She was a very wise Ravenclaw student, she told me all about Hogwarts, and stuffed me with books before I even received my letter. Honestly I was counting on being a Ravenclaw too, and the sorting hat sure was considering it as well, it took way to long for it to decide where I belonged. I'm a half-blood. My dad is a muggle, all though if he went to Hogwarts, he'd be in Slytherin for sure. So far I haven't made any friends really. My owl, Hope, she's my only friend. She is so pretty; almost entirely white feathers, except for one dark blue feather. My mum bought it for me in Diagon Alley for my first year. I think the blue feather reminded her of her time here as the proud Ravenclaw she is. Also I've met Moaning Myrtle who is quite nice as well. We have some very very interesting conversations...
