Backstory

I can't believe I'm at Hogwarts! At first, I was a bit wary of being sorted into Ravenclaw because I thought all Ravenclaws were boring bookworms and the Sorting Hat had made a mistake. Yes, I was and still am smart but I wasn't boring. I love to have fun with my friends and go on adventures so Ravenclaw was obviously not the house for me, right? WRONG! I adored Ravenclaw once I found out what being a Ravenclaw is really all about. Us Ravenclaws are all different from one another and we all have our passions and dreams. The one thing that makes us all Ravenclaws, though, is our fondness for learning and not just being smart. I'm a half-blood, which means one of my parents is magic while the other is not. In my case, my father is a wizard but my mother is a muggle. Most half-bloods' parents know the other is magic but in my case, my mother doesn't. She thinks my father runs a blinds and curtains business but he actually works at the Ministry of Magic. My mother also thinks I attend an all-girls boarding school but I'm actually here at Hogwarts. I wish I could tell her but my mother can never keep anything in her stomach. She would probably tell half the neighborhood before dinner, so my father and I decided to keep our magic a secret. Oh and I must tell you about my friends. I hang out with 3 others, surprisingly all from different houses. There is Asher Stewart, who is from Hufflepuff, Amara Blishwick, who is a Slytherin, and Zale Vallant, who is a Gryffindor. I'm so excited to go on more adventures with them and continue learning the art of Witchcraft and Wizardry at the one and only Hogwarts!
