Backstory

Growing up in a Half-blood family I got to see magic all the time and I was fascinated so when my Hogwarts letter arrived I was so excited. The hat put me into Hufflepuff pretty quickly though it did consider putting me in Slytherin. I'm most looking forward to potions, history and herbology as they seem the most interesting, not sure about transfiguration though. I don't know what I want to do after school yet, maybe a researcher or maybe a curse-breaker? They sound like really interesting jobs. That's a while away though so it should be fine not knowing yet.

I really want to know where magic comes from and how it works, like, how come some people don't have it, like muggles?

I'm sure me and my cat Orion will get along fine here in Hogwarts.
