Backstory

Hi there! My name is Jessica, i’m currently a student at hogwarts and I belong to hufflepuff house :) I believe the sorting hat decided to put me in hufflepuff due to my soft nature and my unwavering loyalty. I’m also a very sensitive soul and can pick up on how others are feeling. It didn’t take long at all for the sorting hat to come to this decision and Oh my! it such a marvellous experience being sorted in my first year!

My favourite classes are care of magical creatures and herbology. I can’t really say I have a least favourite class, i’m pretty open to trying everything hogwarts has to offer.

I’m often picked on by the other students at hogwarts due to the fact that both of my parents are muggles. I however, don’t mind at all that i’m not a pureblood. I do just fine at school regardless!!!!

I would say my greatest strength is my compassion. It opens my eyes, mind and heart to new experiences and life lessons. More importantly, my greatest weakness is my craving for acceptance from others, often times it gets in the way of me just being my true self.

After I finish school, I would like to go
on to work with magical creatures. Maybe I could even go back to teach care of magical creatures at hogwarts!

To me the most fascinating aspect of magic is the way it challenges the normalised belief that things out of the ordinary couldn’t possibly exist. It also allows those of us who have the ability to use magic to help others in need.

What I truly want is to find true happiness and to get to a point in my life physically/emotionally/spiritually where I feel content yet still ready to learn more.

As for pets, I have an adorable white snowy owl named Mazikeen. She is the sweetest little thing and is amazing at travelling with my most important letters!

I love reading and spend most of my
time snuggled up in the hufflepuff common room with a good book and steaming mug of green tea.
