I first knew that I had magical talent when I was playing soccer at my Muggle school. I have never been athletic; always creative and academic, which I suppose is why I am in Ravenclaw. My parents wanted me participate in a sport, so I chose soccer. However, I had to miss my favorite club; the Creative Writers Club was on the same Tuesday as soccer practice. So, on the first day of practice, I was frustrated that I was out in the hot sun and not inside doing what I loved. I wasn't participating much, and I was keeping my head down, away from the blinding sun. When a soccer ball inevitably flew towards me, I looked up just as it was nearing my face. Somehow, the ball seemed to veer right and hit the field, slowly tumbling into the goal. I always thought about that moment, but even though it never happened again, I couldn't help but notice other strange occurrences. So it wasn't much of a surprise when I got my Hogwarts letter.
