Backstory

Hi! I'm Nina and I was sorted into Gryffindor. My father is a muggle and my mother is a wizard and they did not hesitate to let me have the opportunity to join Hogwarts. When arriving the Sorting Hat could not decide if I belonged to Ravenclaw or Gryffindor, but my leadership skills placed me in Gryffindor. I cant wait to start my classes. Being a half-blood has some difficulties because I am constantly pushed around for not being a pureblood, but it does not bother me. I was young when He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named rose to power, but my family and I immigrated out of the UK and came back when things were deemed safe. I still do not know what I wish to do after I graduate from Hogwarts, but I'll figure it out soon enough. I love seeing all the magical creatures around Hogwarts. I want to be able to use magic to improve myself and others. Its a little hard to come here because I won't be able to see my family and my dog Akela for a little while but in the end it's all worth it.
