Backstory

HI! I'm Maddie and I'm a new wizard attending Hogwarts. Thanks to a long line of powerful wizards, I am a pureblood. I have been waiting for this day since I was little. Growing up was tough. My father was a death eater and within Voldemort's inner circle (should I be saying his name, or are we still keeping it on the down-low?). Back to the story! My father was imprisoned in Azkaban not long after my mother had found out she was pregnant with mwah. My mother and I had to live in secret, she was always hiding not wanting to be caught. She would always talk to me about her experience at Hogwarts and how much she loved it. She never wanted to become a death eater with my father, but, she loved him too much to leave. She wanted me to have the life she never had. I would go to Diagon Alley by myself to get the materials I needed. Many people would look and stare and many times I would have people ask where my parents were. I would just respond they were in the next store over. Honestly, I wouldn't be surprised if I was a Slytherin, just like my father. But I want to know what the future holds and I want to be the one to determine it.
