Backstory

When I finally got my Hogwarts letter, I was so excited! Both of my parents had been telling me stories of their Hogrwarts experience for ages. Since I am the oldest kid in my family, I was going to be the first sibling to go. My family took me to Diagon Alley where I got to get all my stuff for Hogwarts. First we went to Ollivander's to get a wand. It only took a few tries luckily to get the perfect one, which ended up being a 13 inch laurel wood wand with a unicorn hair core and rigid flexibility. After that we went to get my robes, and had a quick snack of my favorite dessert pumpkin pasties. Getting my textbooks and other supplies didn't take very long since I had been marvelling at my letter since the day I got it. I got to pick one extra textbook for anything I wanted to learn so I decided to get a new copy of Hogwarts: A History. It was one of my favorite books and would be a good guide to help me understand Hogwarts better. I normally would've taken the one from home but mum didn't want me to lose it. She knows I am more responsible than that, I just suspect she wanted to read it for herself while I was away at Hogwarts. Only a couple days later I was on the Hogwarts Express awaiting the greatest day of my life.
