Backstory

(Younger Student) My family was always known to be peculiar when I was younger my grandmother told me she was a witch at that age I thought it was a joke. As a kid, I would make "potions" out of the ingredients in my garden. I was always so intrigued by the thought that magic could be real but I was always shut down. When I was in fifth grade strange things were happening to me the "potions" I made started actually having some weird effects so I wrote them down in a book. The summer heading into sixth grade a nicely packaged letter showed up at my doorstep I immediately show my mother her response was crying not sad kinda happy and my grandmother was happy I had no idea then they explained it all to me I felt that I should tell them about the weird stuff happening but I advised against it and made my way to Hogwarts.
