Backstory

I'm Amber and I'm what you would call a late bloomer in the magical world, it took a while for me to pop powers, and when I did boy was it scary. The sorting hat and I had quite an issue trying to determine what I was, Ravenclaw, HufflePuff, or Slytherin the hat finally decided to put me in Ravenclaw! Since I'm a late bloomer this is my first year, and a muggle born really doesn't do you any good for reputation. I've heard all about he who must not be named but it's been a while since he's been gone. My greatest strength definitely relies in my ability to read others and just generally being nice to everyone, my greatest weakness is probably the fact that I'm not sure who I need to be in this magical world and I am doubtful of my own skills but I'm really trying! I think I either want to become a healer or an Auror!! Definitely the most fascinating aspect is just the simple things that I normally had to do are now fully able to, and I absolutely want to use my magic to help others! Like I said I want to understand myself and see what I can and will turn out to be. I have a cat, his name is Squish and he's quite a cranky one but once he's happy he's an adorable little floof. Not much more than they tried to kick me out after I got really angry, but my little sister saved me and told them she would leave with me too if I wasn't allowed to stay.
