Backstory

Both my parents were wizards and great ones at that. My mother was an Auror and my father dealt with dragons. Dragons trusted him and loved him more than they would an ordinary man, it was odd and many thought it ridiculous and claimed he was a dark wizard and would only bring doom to us all. My father was none of these things and was a kind man, but one day someone decided to take his life, "to ensure his dark magic wouldn't infect us all." That man got away and I swear I will find him one day.
When I got into Hogwarts it was the best day of my life as that was where my father had studied in his youth. But having my father's name only allowed me to be slandered through the halls, members of my own house members keeping a distance, all for something my father never was. I will become the greatest dragon keeper this world has ever seen and prove each of them wrong. It isn't dark magic, it's simply compassion and love.
